Anna Cropper Biography
Anna Cropper (13 May 1938 – 22 January 2007) was an English stage and television actress. Born in Brierfield, Lancashire, Cropper studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She made her television debut in 1960, appearing in The Insect Play. Cropper gained prominence for her portrayal of a young schizophrenic in the television play In Two Minds, which won the Writers' Guild Award for Best Television Play in 1967. She appeared in several TV shows, including Emergency Ward 10 and Coronation Street. Cropper also had film roles in All Neat in Black Stockings, Cromwell, and Nanou. She starred in the television production of The Exorcism in 1972.
