Anna Friel Biography
Anna Friel is an English actress known for her roles in both television and film. She gained initial fame for her portrayal of Beth Jordache in the British soap opera Brookside from 1993 to 1995. Friel then achieved international recognition for her role as Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles in the ABC series Pushing Daisies, earning a Golden Globe nomination. In 2016, she received an International Emmy Award for her title character portrayal in the ITV/Netflix series Marcella. Friel's film credits include The Land Girls, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Me Without You, Goal!, and Limitless. She has also taken the stage in productions such as Closer and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
