Anna Hope

Anna Hope (born 1974) is an English writer and actress from Manchester. She is known for her role as Novice Hame in the popular TV show Doctor Who, appearing in the webcast 'TARDISODE 1 - New Earth' and the television episodes 'New Earth' and 'Gridlock.' She also portrayed Senator Hame in the Big Finish Productions audio set 'Tales from New Earth.' Additionally, Hope has appeared as detective inspector Patricia Menzies in the 6th Doctor audio plays 'The Condemned,' 'The Raincloud Man,' and 'The Crimes of Thomas Brewster.' Hope grew up in Edgworth, Bolton, Lancashire, and attended Edgworth Primary School, Turton High School, and William Hulme's Grammar School. She holds degrees from Wadham College, Oxford, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, and Birkbeck College, London, where she studied English and Creative Writing.
