Anna Hopkins

Anna Hopkins (born February 12, 1987) is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various television series and films. She gained recognition for portraying Lilith in Freeform's original series Shadowhunters and Monica Stuart in The Expanse. Hopkins was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and comes from a diverse background, with Jewish Romanian and Hungarian heritage from her mother's side, and Scottish and Welsh descent from her father's side. Fluent in both French and English, she initially trained in hip hop dancing before shifting her focus to theatre. Hopkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the Paris Institute of Political Studies.
