Anna Torv

Anna Torv is an Australian actress known for her roles in various television series. She gained recognition for portraying Olivia Dunham in the science fiction series Fringe from 2008 to 2013. Torv also appeared as Wendy Carr in the crime thriller series Mindhunter from 2017 to 2019, and she is set to appear as Tess in the upcoming HBO drama series The Last of Us in 2023. Her performance in Fringe earned her four consecutive Saturn Awards for Best Actress on Television, and she received a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Torv has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her work on The Last of Us. Currently, she stars as Helen Norville in the ABC series The Newsreader, for which she won the 2021 AACTA award for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series and the 2022 Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actress.
