Annabelle Dowler (born 1974) is an English actress known for her work on stage, screen, and radio. Born and raised in Formby, Merseyside, Dowler attended Holy Family High School before studying Spanish and Drama at the University of Bristol. She began her career touring Spain with a bilingual drama group before making appearances on television. Dowler portrayed Catherine of Aragon in the Channel 4 adaptation of The Six Wives of Henry VIII and also appeared in episodes of Lewis and The Bill. She has performed in stage productions at the National Theatre, Liverpool Everyman, Liverpool Playhouse, and the Creation Theatre in Oxford. Additionally, Dowler has showcased her talent in radio dramas, including notable productions like Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair at Styles and Monica Dickens's My Turn to Make the Tea. Since 2001, she has been a part of the BBC Radio 4 soap opera The Archers, playing the character Kirsty Miller. Dowler's versatility extends to the world of video games, as she provided the voice for May, one of the main protagonists in the 2021 game It Takes Two by Hazelight Studios.
