AnnaSophia Robb (born December 8, 1993) is an American actress, model, and singer. She began her acting career as a child, appearing on television before making her feature film debut in Because of Winn-Dixie (2005). Robb gained recognition for her supporting role as Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and received critical acclaim for her performance in Bridge to Terabithia (2007), earning two Young Artist Awards. She achieved further fame for her lead role as Carrie Bradshaw on The CW's series The Carrie Diaries (2013–2014). Robb also appeared in the Hulu miniseries The Act (2019). Born in Denver, Colorado, Robb is of Danish, English, Irish, Scottish, and Swedish descent.
