Anne Jackson (September 3, 1925 – April 12, 2016) was an American actress known for her work on stage, screen, and television. She frequently collaborated with her husband, actor Eli Wallach. Jackson received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1956 for her performance in Paddy Chayefsky's Middle of the Night. She also won an Obie Award for Best Actress in 1963 for her roles in The Typists and The Tiger. Born in Millvale, Pennsylvania in 1925, Jackson was the youngest of three children. Her mother was of Irish Catholic descent, and her father had emigrated from Croatia. Jackson's career spanned over six decades, and she made notable appearances in various films and TV shows.
