Anne Elizabeth Ramsay is an American actress best known for her role as Lisa Stemple on the TV show Mad About You. She was born and raised in La Habra, CA. Ramsay attended UCLA where she studied theater and graduated with a bachelor's degree. She began her acting career with a role in an industrial film and later became part of the acting group called The Continuum, which featured UCLA alumni. In 1987, Ramsay co-wrote and starred in the group's production of Waiting, which received critical acclaim. Ramsay also received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Best Ensemble in a Comedy series for her role in Mad About You.
