Annie Funke

Annie Funke is an American actress known for her role as FBI Supervisory Special Agent and Medical Examiner Mae Jarvis on the CBS crime drama series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Born on April 9, 1985, in Edmond, Oklahoma, Funke graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in musical theater. She further honed her skills at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, graduating in 2011. Funke's career has predominantly been on the stage, with notable appearances in off-Broadway hit 'Punk Rock' and the Roundabout Theater's 'If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet,' alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. She has also worked on Broadway in 'Hairspray' and in the San Francisco production of 'Wicked.' Funke gained recognition in the film industry with her role in the acclaimed movie 'A Most Violent Year' in 2014.
