Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer-songwriter, political activist, and philanthropist. She gained recognition in the late 1970s as part of the new wave band, the Tourists. Lennox then achieved international success in the 1980s as a member of Eurythmics, alongside Dave Stewart. Notably, Lennox's powerful androgynous look in the music video for 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' garnered attention and challenged societal norms. With Eurythmics, Lennox delivered hits like 'There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)' and 'Love Is a Stranger'.
