Annie Mumolo (born July 10, 1973) is an American actress, screenwriter, comedian, and producer. She gained recognition for co-writing the 2011 film Bridesmaids, earning her nominations for an Academy Award and a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay. Mumolo, along with Kristen Wiig, also co-wrote and starred in the 2021 comedy film Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar. Her notable film appearances include This Is 40 (2012), Afternoon Delight (2013), The Boss (2016), Bad Moms (2016), Queenpins (2020), and Confess, Fletch (2022). Born in Irvine, California, Mumolo comes from an Italian descent and has a family background in music, with her grandfather being a studio musician at NBC.
