Annika Boras (born February 28, 1981) is an American actress and director. Known for her work in theater, Boras received a Drama League Award nomination for her portrayal of Elektra in An Oresteia and a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for her performance in Edward Bond's Chair. In film, she appeared alongside Octavia Spencer and Claire Danes in A Kid Like Jake (2017), directed by Silas Howard, and played Mrs. Alsop in The Post, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Boras was born in New Jersey to Erika Boras (now Erika Tesi), a classical cellist, and Dr. Tom Boras, a jazz saxophonist. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after leaving New York University to pursue acting in London.
