Anson Adams Mount IV (born February 25, 1973) is an American actor known for his roles on television and in films. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Cullen Bohannon in the AMC western drama series Hell on Wheels, and as Jim Steele on the NBC series Conviction. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he played the character Black Bolt, appearing in the TV series Inhumans and the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Mount also starred alongside Britney Spears in the film Crossroads. Additionally, he portrays Captain Christopher Pike in the Star Trek TV series Discovery, Short Treks, and Strange New Worlds. Mount is a member of the board of directors of METI (Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence).
