Known for his roles as a joker or dapper villain in mob films, DeSando has appeared in a variety of TV shows including L.A. Law, Crossing Jordan, NYPD Blue, Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, and Sex and the City. He gained prominence for his role as Brendan Filone in The Sopranos and has starred in movies such as Federal Hill, A Day in Black and White, xent, Beer League, Kiss Me, Guido, and The Whole Shebang. Additionally, DeSando provided the voice of Reggie in the video game The Sopranos: Road to Respect. He has also appeared in Dito Montiel's films A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and Fighting.
