Antonio Aakeel Biography
Antonio Aakeel is an English actor known for his roles in Eaten by Lions, Tomb Raider, and the BAFTA award-winning series Three Girls. Born in Wolverhampton, England, Aakeel grew up in the West Midlands and discovered his passion for acting at a young age. He made his debut in the school nativity play and continued to perform in local theatre. Aakeel is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. In Eaten by Lions, he played the lead role of Omar, a young man searching for his father. Aakeel was recognized as a Screen International Star of Tomorrow for his performance in the film. He will also be starring in Abid Khan's Granada Nights as Ben, a British tourist on a journey of self-discovery in Spain.
