Antony Blinken

Antony Blinken (born April 16, 1962) is an American government official and diplomat. He currently serves as the 71st United States Secretary of State, having assumed office on January 26, 2021. Prior to this role, Blinken held several key positions in the government. He served as the Deputy National Security Advisor from 2013 to 2015 and the Deputy Secretary of State from 2015 to 2017 during the Obama administration. Before that, he worked in the State Department and on the National Security Council from 1994 to 2001 during the Clinton administration. Blinken also served as a foreign policy advisor for Joe Biden's 2008 presidential campaign and was a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has extensive experience in foreign policy and has been influential in shaping America's international relations.
