Antony Holland Biography
Antony Holland (28 March 1920 – 29 July 2015) was an English actor, playwright, and theatre director. He completed his drama training at the Labour Stage in London before serving in His Majesty's Armed Forces during the Second World War. During the war, Holland put on plays in various locations, including an abandoned theatre in South Shields and the Khedivial Opera House in Cairo. After the war, he continued his career in theatre and acted in numerous productions in England and Canada. Holland eventually settled on Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Canada, where he lived until his death in 2015. He made significant contributions to the theatre industry and is remembered for his talent and dedication.
