Aqib Khan

Aqib Khan (عاقب خان; born 24 August 1994) is an English actor of Pakistani descent. He gained recognition for his leading role in the 2010 comedy film West Is West, and is also known for his appearances in the BBC series Ladhood. Born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Khan attended Knowleswood Primary School, Nab Wood School, and Tong High School where he studied drama. He later studied for a BTEC in Sports at Thornton Grammar School. Khan made his screen debut in West Is West, securing the role of Sajid at the age of fifteen. Despite limited acting experience, his resemblance to actor Jordan Routledge made him a notable find for the film.
