Arabella Weir (born 6 December 1957) is a Scottish comedian, actress, and writer. She is best known for her roles in the comedy series The Fast Show and Posh Nosh. Weir has also written several books, including the popular title Does My Bum Look Big in This? Additionally, she has contributed articles to The Independent and The Guardian, as well as their Weekend magazine. Born in San Francisco, California, United States, Weir is the daughter of former British ambassador Sir Michael Weir and his wife, Alison Weir. She attended nursery school in Washington D.C. and later studied at the Sacre Coeur Convent in Cairo and the French Lycee in London. With both parents being Scottish, Weir has strong roots in Scotland and has fond memories of spending holidays there.
