    Archie Gips Biography
    Archie Gips is an American filmmaker and producer known for his work in the entertainment industry. He was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles. Gips is a cofounder and partner/president of Unrealistic Ideas, a production company that specializes in nonscripted formats. He studied broadcast journalism at Syracuse University and received his masters in film from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Gips has been influenced by his parents, Philip Gips, a graphic designer known for creating iconic film posters, and Barbara Gips, a copywriter famous for writing the tagline for the film Alien.
