Argentina Brunetti (born Argentina Josefina Ángela Ferraù; August 31, 1907 – December 20, 2005) was an Argentinian stage and film actress and writer. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Italian parents, Brunetti began her show-business career at a young age, performing supporting roles on stage in Europe and South America. In 1928, she and her family moved to the U.S. She was placed under contract to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1937, where she dubbed the voices of Jeanette MacDonald and Norma Shearer into Italian. Brunetti also made her movie debut in the classic film It's a Wonderful Life (1946). She wrote and performed in daily radio shows and became a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
