Ari Lennox
Ari Lennox, born Courtney Shanade Salter on March 26, 1991, is an American R&B singer from Washington, D.C. She gained recognition as the first female artist signed to J. Cole's record label, Dreamville Records. Lennox's career took off after the release of her debut EP, 'Pho,' in 2016. She made an uncredited guest appearance on J. Cole's song 'Change' the same year. In 2019, she released her debut studio album, 'Shea Butter Baby.' Lennox has also been featured on Dreamville compilation albums, 'Revenge of the Dreamers II' (2015) and 'Revenge of the Dreamers III' (2019), which earned her a Grammy nomination. In 2021, she had her first entries on the Billboard Hot 100 with her single 'Pressure' and her feature on Summer Walker's 'Unloyal.'
