Art Alexakis

Arthur Paul Alexakis, born on April 12, 1962, is an American musician best known as the singer-songwriter and guitarist of the rock band Everclear. He has also been a member of various other bands and has worked as a songwriter for other artists. Alongside his music career, Alexakis has founded several record labels and has worked as an A&R representative for major record labels. In addition to his musical endeavors, he has been a political activist, advocating for drug awareness policies and supporting the families of the military. Born in Los Angeles, Alexakis faced challenges in his early years, including his father leaving the family and experiencing physical and sexual abuse from older children in his neighborhood.
