Art LaFleur (September 9, 1943 – November 17, 2021) was an American character actor and acting coach. Born in Gary, Indiana, LaFleur had a diverse career in the entertainment industry. He played football at the University of Kentucky before transitioning to sports broadcasting on ESPN and CBS. LaFleur made numerous guest appearances on television shows like Angel and JAG. In 1993, he portrayed baseball player Babe Ruth in the film The Sandlot, and he gained recognition for his role as Red Sweeney (Silver Fox) in the 1995 comedy film Man of the House. LaFleur's dedication to his craft extended beyond acting, as he also worked as an acting coach. He passed away on November 17, 2021.
