Arvind Swamy

Arvind Swamy is an Indian actor, director, model, entrepreneur, and television presenter. He was born on June 18, 1970. Swamy gained popularity for his work in Tamil cinema, as well as for his appearances in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films. He made his acting debut in the blockbuster film Thalapathi (1991), directed by Mani Ratnam. Some of his successful movies include Roja (1992), Bombay (1995), Minsara Kanavu (1997), Thani Oruvan (2015), and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018). Swamy also ventured into directing with the Netflix anthology series Navarasa (2021), where he directed a segment called Rudra (Roudhiram - Anger). In addition to his Tamil films, he has also acted in Telugu, Malayalam, and Bollywood movies. Swamy briefly served as the host for the third season of Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi (2012–2016) on Star Vijay.
