Asa Akira

Asa Akira is an American pornographic film actress, writer, and adult film director. Born on January 3, 1985, she has appeared in 689 adult films as of June 2023. In 2013, Akira became the third Asian performer to win the AVN Female Performer of the Year Award. She has also hosted the Pornhub Awards and has been inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame, XRCO Hall of Fame, and Brazzers Hall of Fame. Akira, of Japanese descent, was born in New York and spent her formative years in Japan. Her professional surname was taken from the anime film Akira. Prior to her adult film career, she worked as a dominatrix and stripper at the Hustler Club in New York.
