Aseem Batra

Aseem Batra is an American television director, producer, and actress. She was born in Ohio to Indian parents and later moved to rural Georgia and Orange County, California. She studied communications and theater at the University of California, San Diego and pursued graduate school for communications management at the University of Southern California. Batra served as a producer, writer, and actress on the popular show Scrubs, playing the character Josephine. She also wrote and produced for The Cleveland Show. Batra's work on The Cleveland Show earned her a nomination for Outstanding Animated Program at the Primetime Emmy Awards. Additionally, she has directed and acted in various television shows and continues to contribute to the industry.
