Asher Angel

Asher Dov Angel (born September 6, 2002) is an American actor and singer. He began his career as a child actor in the 2008 film Jolene. Angel gained recognition for his role as Jonah Beck in the Disney Channel series Andi Mack. He portrayed Billy Batson in the 2019 film Shazam! and will reprise the role in its 2023 sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Angel comes from a Jewish family and has two siblings. He started acting at a young age, participating in theater productions and landing roles in local shows before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
