Ashlyn Gere

Ashlyn Gere is an American actress known for her work in both mainstream film and the adult film industry. She gained recognition for her appearances on popular science fiction television shows like The X-Files and Space: Above and Beyond. Gere began her career in the 1980s, appearing in B movies under the name Kim McKamy. She also worked as a body double for films like Basic Instinct and Indecent Proposal. In the 1990s, Gere became one of the most popular stars in the adult film industry, winning numerous awards. She was inducted into the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame. Gere is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Theatre Arts and Communications.
