Ashton Holmes (born February 17, 1978) is an American actor known for his roles in movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for portraying Jack Stall in the film A History of Violence (2005). Holmes also appeared as Private Sidney Phillips in the HBO miniseries The Pacific (2010) and as Thom on the CW action-thriller series Nikita (2010–2011). Additionally, he played Tyler Barrol in the ABC drama series Revenge (2011–2012). Born in Albany, New York, Holmes showed an early interest in acting and received training in community theater. He attended The Albany Academy and later participated in the intern program of the New York State Theater Institute.
