Ashton Sanders Biography
Ashton Durrand Sanders is an American actor born on October 24, 1995, in Carson, California. He gained recognition for his portrayal of teenage Chiron in the Academy Award-winning film Moonlight (2016). Sanders attended Grand Arts High School in Downtown Los Angeles and graduated in 2013. He initially pursued a BFA at The Theatre School at DePaul University but left after three years to focus on his acting career. Sanders made his film debut in The Retrieval (2013) and had a small role in Straight Outta Compton (2015). He also appeared in an episode of Refinery29's web series The Skinny. Sanders continues to make strides in the entertainment industry.
