Asmeret Ghebremichael is an American actress and singer, known for her work in Submissions Only, Legally Blonde, and The Book of Mormon. She was born and raised in Churchill, Pennsylvania, and received training in dance and musical theatre at the Abby Lee Dance Company. Ghebremichael made her Broadway debut in 1999 in Footloose and has since appeared in various productions such as Wicked, Spamalot, Lone Star Love, and In the Heights. She played Pilar in Legally Blonde on Broadway and also understudied the roles of Shandi and Brooke Wyndham. Ghebremichael has earned a Drama Desk Award for her performance in In the Heights. She continues to contribute to the entertainment industry through her acting and singing talents.
