Ato Essandoh Biography
Ato Essandoh is an American television and film actor. He was born on July 29, 1972, in Schenectady, New York to Ghanaian parents. Essandoh graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1990 and went on to earn a B.S. in chemical engineering from Cornell University. He began his acting career after being dared by a girlfriend to join theater. He studied acting under James Price at The Acting Studio - New York in New York City. In addition to acting, Essandoh is also a playwright and co-founder of The Defiant Ones writing and performance group. He has recently launched a podcast called Unrelated with his childhood friend Chris Cecot.
