Austin Crute (born October 24, 1995) is an American actor and singer known for his roles in the Netflix series Daybreak and the films Booksmart and They/Them. He was born in Norcross, Georgia, into a religious family, with his father being a pastor. Crute gained recognition as a contestant on the reality competition Majors & Minors and later appeared on the FX series Atlanta as 'Black Justin Bieber'. He graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School in 2014 and then attended New York University, graduating in 2018. Crute is openly gay and has portrayed LGBTQ characters in various projects. He has also released the track 'Ungodly' as a recording artist.
