Hailing from a Telugu family in San Francisco, California, she has worked in various Indian films, primarily in Telugu language. In addition to her film career, Avantika has appeared in commercials. She gained recognition for her roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie Spin (2021) and the American comedy Senior Year (2022), where she portrayed the character Janet Singh. Avantika also achieved success as the second winner of the Zee TV reality show Dance India Dance Lil Masters North America. She honed her acting skills through drama lessons at the American Conservatory Theater.
