Avijit Dutt

Avijit Dutt is an Indian filmmaker, actor, theater director, and communications consultant. He has a master's degree in English Literature from Calcutta University. With over 100 plays in English, Hindi, and Bengali, Dutt has established himself as a prominent theatre director and actor. He has written six full-length plays and adapted the renowned work '1084 ki Ma' by Mahasweta Devi. Dutt has made notable appearances in Hollywood films such as 'Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love' and 'Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.' He has also portrayed roles in Indian films including 'Madras Cafe,' 'Jolly LLB2,' and 'No One Killed Jessica.' Additionally, he played a vital role in launching the Childline initiative with UNICEF and the National Human Rights Commission.
