Ayisha Issa Biography
Ayisha Issa is a Canadian actress and martial arts practitioner born in Montreal, Quebec. She has appeared in various English- and French-language television series and films including Dark Matter, Unité 9, and Brick Mansions. In addition to her acting career, Issa is an accomplished Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, winning the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation World Championships twice. She currently holds the rank of brown belt and previously owned a dojo in Toronto. Issa has also lent her voice to video games such as Far Cry Primal and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. In 2022, she won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for her role in Transplant.
