Azhar Usman (born December 23, 1975) is an American comedian, actor, screenwriter, and producer of Indian descent. He gained recognition as one third of the comedy trio Allah Made Me Funny. Usman has also served as a lecturer, community activist, and lawyer. In December 2020, he was announced to have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portraying the character Najaf in the Ms. Marvel original streaming series for Disney+. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to immigrant Indian Muslim parents, Usman grew up in the suburb of Skokie. He graduated from Niles West High School in 1993 and later earned a BA degree in Communications in 1996.
