Bahar Soomekh

Bahar Soomekh is an American former actress born on March 30, 1975 in Tehran, Iran. She is best known for her roles in the movie Crash and the Saw franchise. Soomekh moved to Los Angeles, California with her family during the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979. She attended Sinai Akiba Academy and Beverly Hills High School. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in environmental studies in 1997, Soomekh worked in motivational sales while pursuing acting classes. She guest starred on television shows like JAG and 24 before landing her breakthrough role in Crash. Soomekh's notable role in Crash earned her critical acclaim.
