Balinder Johal Biography
Balinder Johal is an Indo-Canadian actress known for her roles in the films of Deepa Mehta, including Heaven on Earth and Beeba Boys. She was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2009 and received a Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2016. Originally from Punjab, Johal moved to Canada to pursue a master's degree in education at the University of British Columbia. Her notable stage performances include Here and Now and My Granny the Goldfish.
