Barbara Bosson Biography
Barbara Bosson (November 1, 1939 – February 18, 2023) was an American actress known for her roles in the television series Hill Street Blues (1981–1986) and Murder One (1995–1997). Born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Bosson began her career in the crime thriller Bullitt (1968). She gained recognition for her portrayal of Fay Furillo in Hill Street Blues and received six Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her performance. Bosson also played the tough prosecutor Miriam Grasso in Murder One, which earned her an additional Emmy nomination. She appeared in the series Richie Brockelman, Private Eye and had film roles including The Last Starfighter (1984).
