Crampton made her television debut on Days of Our Lives and later had a supporting role on The Young and the Restless. In recent years, she has appeared in television horror anthologies including Channel Zero: The Dream Door, Into the Dark, and Creepshow. Crampton made her film debut in Body Double and gained recognition for her performances in Re-Animator and From Beyond. Some of her notable roles include Chopping Mall, Puppet Master, Castle Freak, You're Next, We Are Still Here, and Little Sister.
