Barbara Hershey

Barbara Hershey, born Barbara Lynn Herzstein on February 5, 1948, is an American actress with a career spanning over 50 years. She has appeared in various television shows and films, showcasing her versatility in genres such as westerns and comedies. Hershey gained widespread recognition in the 1980s and was hailed by the Chicago Tribune as 'one of America's finest actresses.' Notable achievements include winning an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role in A Killing in a Small Town (1990) and receiving Golden Globe nominations for The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and The Portrait of a Lady (1996). Hershey has also been honored with two Best Actress awards at the Cannes Film Festival.
