Barbara Leigh-Hunt Biography
Barbara Leigh-Hunt is an English actress born on December 14, 1935, in Bath, Somerset. With a wide range of theatrical credits, she has appeared in Broadway productions such as Hamlet (1958) and Sherlock Holmes Justice (1973) (1974). In 1993, she won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the National Theatre production of An Inspector Calls. Leigh-Hunt has also made notable film appearances in Frenzy (1972), Henry VIII and His Six Wives (1972), Bequest to the Nation (1973), and Billy Elliot (2000). Throughout her career, she has performed on stage with renowned theater companies like Bristol Old Vic, Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Royal National Theatre.
