Barbara March Biography
Barbara March (October 9, 1953 – August 11, 2019) was a Canadian actress known for her role as Lursa, one of the Duras sisters, in the Star Trek franchise. She portrayed Lursa in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek Generations. March's other notable credits include Total Security, L.A. Law, The Portrait, The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw, Blood Ties, Kingsgate, Nightheat, and Deserters, which earned her a Genie Award nomination for Best Actress. She began acting after graduating from the University of Windsor and received critical acclaim for her performances at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and the Guthrie Theater.
