Barbara Rhoades Biography
Barbara Rhoades is an American actress known for her comedy and mystery roles. She gained popularity for her portrayal of Penelope 'Bad Penny' Cushings in the film The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968). Rhoades also had a recurring role as Maggie Chandler, Jodie Dallas's future wife, on the TV series Soap. Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, she attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School and started dancing lessons at the age of 7. Rhoades began her acting career in the late 1960s, appearing in numerous TV series including It Takes a Thief, Ironside, Mannix, and Columbo. She has also been featured in Love, American Style, The Odd Couple, and Murder, She Wrote, among others.
