Barbara Tarbuck (January 15, 1942 – December 26, 2016) was an American film, television, and stage actress from Detroit, Michigan. She is best known for her recurring role as Lady Jane Jacks on General Hospital. Tarbuck began her acting career at a young age, performing on the children's series Storyland. She later learned acting skills from veteran actors on radio shows such as The Lone Ranger and The Shadow. Tarbuck attended Cooley High School and Wayne State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree and participated in theater productions. She also earned a master's degree in Theatre from the University of Michigan. Throughout her career, Tarbuck appeared in numerous film, television, and stage productions.
