Barrett Wilbert Weed is an American actress and singer. Born on November 6, 1988, she is best known for originating the roles of Veronica Sawyer in the Off-Broadway production of Heathers: The Musical and Janis Sarkisian in the Broadway production of Mean Girls. Weed grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts and began performing at a young age with the Boston Children's Opera. She attended the Walnut Hill School and credits the institution for much of her later success. Weed graduated from Elon University with a BFA in musical theatre in 2011. Her talent and accomplishments have earned her recognition, including a 2019 Top 10 Under 10 Alumni Award from Elon University.
