Barry Duffield

Barry Duffield is an Australian actor, producer, scriptwriter, and director, born on February 28, 1962, in Billingham, England. In 1968, he moved to Australia with his family and settled in Nhulunbuy. Duffield attended Woodridge North State School until 1972 and then Nhulunbuy Area School until 1979. He furthered his skills by studying at the South Seas Film and Television School of New Zealand from 1997 to 1998, earning his diploma. Duffield is best known for his role as Lugo in the Starz television series Spartacus. He married Susan Flemming in 1999 and they currently reside in Auckland, New Zealand. Duffield has also gained experience in filmmaking, starting with a short stop motion film called Salt'N'Pepper shaker show that he made using his father's 8mm camera.
